hadn't been for a while , last visit was quite good so thought I would go again , have to say was not impressed, very sour waitress , dreadful meal and coffee , what a shame !!!
We ate lunch here on a Saturday. The food was good, enjoyable in fact, but the service was a little cold and pushy and they sat us directly opposite the toilet. Not the best atmosphere when eating... This was our second visit and to be honest I'm not sure we will go back again. Shame, because it has loads of... More
Try hard cafe...looking to be more than it is, oh and closes for business early. Locals probably love it but travellers be warned, and avoid!
up there with the best melbourne laneway cafes but without the attitude. Hi-viz wearing council workers, suits, tradies and even a few devonport hipsters all came through for their morning caffeine hit. most orders I noticed were pre empted by the barista with "the usual?"................. impressive. great breakfast love the avocado and fetta mash home made hash browns and house beans! only... I found the staff, food and café pretentious and unfriendly. However, some of the music acts are fantastic, very much worth seeing, and they do give the café some credibility.
Great environment with original reused industrial decor, delicious menu, prompt service, good food and coffee,... Despite morning crowd meals arrived promptly and together. We're happy chappies here. Ps. My guests are from Adelaide and are a little fussy!
Very disappointed as had heard great things but waited for 45 mins and then discovered our meal had been forgotten - when we finally received our food it was quite bland with no apology given - on the up side, the coffee was fantastic.
