Love restaurants on Main St, however, that's about all this had going for it. The atmosphere wasn't overly great, and food was just ok. I wouldn't avoid Fancy That, but wouldn't go out of my way to be there again.

We were joining friends for dinner who suggested Fancy That, I have to admit my only experience had been when it was a bakery. The atmosphere has certainly changed. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely terrific ! I will not not look forward to dining again, I'll make a point of it. I encourage everyone to breakaway... More

We have patronized Fancy That for Sunday brunch, weekday lunch, and dinner. Never the slightest disappointment. I note that people do not leave food on their plates in this restaurant. Everything is so good, right to the last bite. For dinner, I recommend the NY strip, chicken parmesan, and the beef specials. Mr. Slatt, thanks for feeding us well.

The salmon & beef tenderloin special were superb. Great value. It was a busy Saturday evening and our waitress was flustered but effective. There was a lot of noise coming from the kitchen which distracted from our conversation and because it was busy we were already raising our voices to have a conversation. Maybe lunch is quieter.

We have had many memorable meals at Fancy That. They have done a commendable job updating the space. The food is always first rate and served admirably.

We went to Norman to watch our daughter at an OU track meet. Called around the first day looking for soup for a late lunch. Fancy that's soups are amazing! Went back that night for dinner with our daughter and a teammat. We all 4 had a different entre', and we each couldn't stop raving about how good our particular... More

My friends and I went here for brunch. We had the barbecue brisket eggs Benedict (a surprisingly delightful combination) and both types of quiche. They were absolutely amazing and we didn't leave a crumb on our plates. Their dessert was also outstanding. We have creme brûlée, the brownie, and the banana pudding. We left absolutely stuffed but it was amazing... More

Good menu selection cooked to order and a nice little 'tea room' atmosphere. Great sweets as well if you save room.

we had soup, salads and sandwiches, breads were hearty and tasty, soup was at right temperature and exquisite flavor, and all ingredients blended to perfection.

Fancy That is a downtown Norman place that has been in business under several different owners over the last 5-7 years. I hadn't gone much because it was just a little too foo foo cluttered in deco and food only OK. But about a year ago, the restaurant was bought by chef Thomas Slatt. Went there the other night with... More
