Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews before going - but should have clued in when, as we arrived, a guy left saying he was tired of waiting for his order to be taken. We were seated immediately, and then ignored for at least 30 minutes. When our server finally came by we were not offered drinks, appetizers, rather we were... More

Food: We had the caesar salad and fried shrimp entree. It was average. Service: It was friendly and fast. Value: We paid too much for the food we got, but it was in line with other restaurants in the area.

I loved the ambiance of this little jewel - years of history, set in the middle of a beautiful beach town but... they really need to take better care of it. Dust all over, on the beautiful log beams, on the legs of chairs you sit on. They still haven't taken town the red ribbons from Christmas decor. And why... More

Morris' looks like a large log cabin. Very nice building. The food was just OK, not outstanding. I had their Oyster Stew. The oysters were quite large and very few. THe flavoring was good though. If youi want really good Oyster Stew, travel about 30 miles south to Pirates Cove down by Garibaldi. It's the best I've had.

I ate here with my parents and overall it was an OK experience. We came on a very slow night and enjoyed having half the restaurant to ourselves (and sitting near the fire). The feel of the restaurant is homey and cozy, and we were given polite (just not outstanding) service. I would say the service was more "laid back"... More

The owner has a great sense of humor. We ate in the Liver Friendly Society room!!! I had the chipotle black bean burger which was very tasty. The oyster stew was excellent. They had an excellent broccoli and fruit salad which has divine. It felt like a very upscale, vegetarian Appleby's.

Off sesson mid week, Service quick could be more helpful, Ask if could have toast instead of pancakes & she pointed at the menu saying no. Did have the pancakes & eggs "very good" My wife enjoyed the hash browns. Ok for breakfast, not sure I would wait for a table.

Traveling with another couple- four folks with various appetites and preferences made happy. One ordered oyster stew, one grilled salmon eggs Benedict, the ladies split havarti, grilled onion big ol' burger (forget name) and hand cut fries. All very good. Burger patty was a pre-made shaped one, don't like those, they aren't juicy and crumbly like hand-packed. Other than that... More

The 1st time we ate here was back in January 1997, on our honeymoon, we could barely afford a grilled cheese but the food was great, service was warm and welcoming and great little cozy place. We have continued to go back every time we are in Cannon Beach. Our most recent visit was Easter Sunday 2013. We had our... More

After a 15 minute wait for a table, we were seated at the far end of the restaurant. By then, most of the patrons (families with small kids) had left and the restaurant wasn't even full. There were several open tables. One server approached our table to get the paid tab (from the previous customer) but didn't even acknowledge our... More
