OK, this place is always packed and there are way too many choices. It is easy to go overboard and by a lot of stuff. There are some of the best yeast donuts I've had, light and tender. However, get ready for the sugar shock from all the toppings. But, have fun with it and bring friends to try more!

I stumbled into Voodoo in Eugene...not knowing of its lofty reputation. The doughnut I had (Eugene Cream) was OK..nothing great. The guy (think Dwight form The Office) who was working there got all agro when I wanted to take a photo of the unique doughnut designs. He eventually ordered me to "get off the property". At that point I suggested... More

I was so ready to hit this place hard as we had sailed through Portland and missed the exit to find the store there. So on a beautiful sunny Friday morning, we got to the Eugene store and it was just as expected. Funky, artsy and open for business. The usual crowd must have come and gone because we had... More

I was quite surprised to encounter the for-real Voodoo Doughnuts logo on a street corner in Eugene, accustomed as I am to visiting their Portland store. I was not surprised that on a late Friday night there was a line stretching out the door and onto the sidewalk, however. A college town like this one is a perfect spot for... More

I am used to waiting in line on weekends at the Portland location so it was odd to walk right up to the counter here (mid morning on a Wednesday). I love the fritters and chose the Memphis Mafia. Crazy amazing. Crispy on the outside and soft inside just as a fritter should be. Nice guy working the counter. I... More

Voodoo Doughnuts has a reputation as the coolest doughnut shop in Oregon. The atmosphere is nice and their crazy toppings and designs are interesting, but, underneath that, the doughnuts themselves are nothing special. Voodoo has their brand and that's what you're paying for here.

Disclaimer: I've never met a doughtnut that I don't like. It's hard for me to describe the atmosphere of this place. I'll just say it's different from your typical doughnut shop. I've only ordered the maple however there are plenty of other options including some unique/interesting noes. From what I remember it's open very late which is nice if you're... More

I just like this place because its original location is Portland is famous. Like the city of Portland, it's weird. It's made national tv for being offbeat such as having the Maple Bacon Doughnut and a doughnut that looks like a Voodoo doll. People can even get married there, 24 hours a day.

I stopped by here & got a very fresh donut with Bavarian cream filling & a coffee on my final day in Eugene, OR! I would Definitely recommend this place for fresh Donuts! They also had several vegan choices.

Visiting Voodoo Doughnuts is an experience, not just a sweet treat. The doughnuts are very good, but it is fun and unique due to the unusual variety and detailed decorations. The shop is also unique in it's atmosphere. It is truly something "to do" while you are visiting the area.
