We tasted clam chowder up and down the Oregon coast on our last vacation. Gino's had by far the best chowder. We went back for seconds a couple hours after our first bowl because it was just that good!

I was hoping for some good oysters when we vacationed in Oregon. We decided to try this restaurant because of the good tripadvisor reviews. We were a little apprehensive at first - heavy on the nautical decor and didn't look too clean. I'm so glad we didn't pass this restaurant up because of first impressions. My husband had scallops which...

If you are looking for lunch in Newport after 2PM, try this place. It is located in the old part of town, along the water, across from the Aquarium. Had clams and clam chowder. Many of the restaurants along here close at 2PM so this was a nice find. They have a nice menu and the prices are not so...

This place is top notch! The food is fresh and brought in off of local boats (I was told) and you can tell. The portions are huge and the staff is friendly. Definitely a return visit!
A local from our whale outing suggested this place for lunch. The chowder was creamy, good and full of clams. The Rockfish taco's were tasty. Loved the fun marine decor inside and out. Waitress was friendly and food came out hot. Can't as for more!
Typical atmosphere. Excellent service. The BBQ pulled tuna sandwich ( their version of pulled pork sandwich) was great. Crab hush puppies and popcorn shimp were outstanding also.
Food was excellent. Fresh Shrimp, oysters , crag and fish. Halibut and rock fish are the best and has a nice atmosphere. Also has smoked fish in different varieties. love the oysters on a half shell too.
We brought company from out of town to eat here and we were greeted and seated quickly. The server was happy and helpful. They were able to make slight changes to menu items and the food arrived hot and yummy. A very pleasant experience. Left full and satisfied.
A crazy great lunch at Gino's. A cup of seafood stew and blackened crab cake with fantastic vegetables and a really good rice side. Always the best. Thanks. Starfish Point
