We had the worst service and the most unfriendly server around! She was rude and clearly not liking her job. Beer was okay and they were playing some low-budget trivia game which was run by an older sweaty man. Yuk. Did I mention the flies that were hovering over the tables?

This pub is awesome - we sat at the bar and did the trivia which lasted for half the night. Greta atmosphere, we met lots of friendly locals and travellers and drank a ton of good beer! I highly rate this place for good times, good brews, and more good brews!

We did not eat here but had a couple samplers of beer. Hands down my favorite was the Hazelnut Brown Nectar. Sooooo delicious! Would have liked to have been able to hit the distillery and purchase some of the hazelnut rum but it was only open Friday-Sunday. Fun craft brewery to try lots of different styles.

The cod fish and chips are superb. Great batter and large chunks of cod. If you like beer they brew some of the best there and ave a tremendous selection on tap. You enter thru a giant red can and get to walk thru part of the brewery under the brew tanks to get to the pub and restaurant upstairs.... More

This was our third trip to the Rogue, oddly one of the reasons we'd been coming to Newport. We were there on a Friday night about 5:00 when it wasn't too busy yet. PROS: Server was polite. Cheese bread appetizer was good. CONS: Our stouts tasted like they'd been diluted in the keg, sadly disappointing as we'd had a bottle... More

We ended up at Rogue by accident, when the power went out on the other side of the bridge one night. It turned out to be great fun and includes a self-tour of the brewery when you first walk in. The smell (of hops?) is a little overwhelming! The pub is a little dark and crowded and loud, the way... More

Rogue Ales is probably the best micro-brewery i the USA. it has won award upon award. John Maier is famous for the variety of fine beers he makes. Local folks are always alert for sales. If you go here, do not miss the Hazelnut Brown Ale and Old Crustacean barley wine. The food is also quite good. An order of... More

We stopped in the Rogue for lunch. The sample beer is excellent. Atmosphere was average. Service was good. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos which was pretty darn tasty. My better half had the Cesear salad. Both meals had decent size portions for lunch. The homemade root beer is pretty good as well. Worth a stop to say you have... More

The Rogue on the Bayfront in a convivial, unpretentious place with an upscale saloon menu and beer brewed in a Rogue operation just over the Yaquina Bay Bridge. It's popular with tourists and is kid friendly and has a adjoining card room for the gamblers among us. It's a fine place to relax and eat on a sunny afternoon. Few... More

We have been to Rogue Ale twice both times we had a great meal and the beer selection is amazing. I highly recommend trying one of the many ale's available. The service was very good.
