This is a cute little Italian restaurant with tasty food. They were very helpful and friendly. We all really enjoyed the live music.

We had the Bellagio Chianti, Baked Zitti with Meatballs and the Canneloni! These ladies can cook! They bring their NY Italian heritage to Oregon. Delicious!

we ordered bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, I noticed the table cloth was sticky but said nothing. my wifem ordered spinach Gnocchi, I ordered meat lasagna. the bruschetta was soggy, the olive tapenade consisted of three olives, the salad dressing was separated so all that got on the salad was the oil. We've been to Green Gables at least 6 times and they are consistently good. Our favorite is the marinara sauce with spicy sausage, next is the meat lasagna and cannelloni. It is small and eclectic, which we find makes it all the more enjoyable.

The food was great. Atmosphere funky - you eat surrounded by books, which are for sale. There was a guitar playing singer there the night we were and she was good. A memorable and good evening.

Everything is homemade here; authentic Italian from an east coast family. Atmosphere is cozy and intimate, but casual and comfortable. Live music is offered most nights, so check out who's playing. Have loved everything we've tried so far including the manicotti, pasta with pesto sauce, seafood lemon alfredo, and chocolate orange cheesecake.
