Step back in time 30 years to experience an authentic Oregon coastal tavern and dine with the locals. This is not Cheers, but everyone there seemed to know everyone's name, and the staff helped us feel like welcome guests as soon as we entered. This service is great. All of the staff seemed to be long time regulars who were... More

Best value pub-grub in town! Fresh pan fried local oysters with a pint of "Black Butte" porter!! A throwback NW tavern which has all the charm of an authentic, antique hangout.

We came here after dinner elsewhere as it had been recommended by our host at th craftsmn b&b ( Also great ) . The place was deserted when we arrived but looked like a dive bar from a movie ( we're English and didn't think places like his really exist ) The barman/ proprietor was very welcoming and offered (... We had a great time with the locals at this bar. Food was great and the service outstanding. Just don't call the bartender "Ma'am". Hahaha. A fun place to hang out after a day on the beach.

We were wondering where the restaurant was when we first entered this place, but quickly felt relaxed as we made our way towards the back where the tables are next to the wood stove and video poker. Not what we expected, but the food and service was top notch. we had a couple of their specialty burgers that didn't disappoint,... More

I have been here many times. Good food, great service and I can hang with my dog in the covered smoking area. One negative: the male off-duty bartender was drunk and combative for no apparant reason. If I were somewhere I don't frequent, he would have been slapped! Hope he's not working New Year's weekend!

I come here when I'm in town because of the fresh made food, friendly and helpful staff and they have a decent outside covered/smoking area where I can hang out with my dog. Pizza to go was great too! Only one negative: The male off-duty bartender was a drunk, belligerant douche and if he were anywhere else, I would have... More

Our assembled family of eight went to this no-nonsense venue late this summer. We had been mesmerized by the dory boats heading out to sea and beaching their crafts on the sand to return. It was a great treat to enjoy the fresh-caught fish with french fries, coleslaw and local beer. It was fun and is a great memory. The... More
