We were over in Pacific City, Oregon this past weekend to meet up with a friend after he rode the Reach the Beach Ride (I rode last year but in light of Saturday's rain was glad I got to eat scones from Grateful Bread this year in lieu of riding in the rain). The bacon-cheddar scone hit the spot for... More

We stopped in for an early lunch before driving back to the Valley after an overnight stay in Pacific City. We've had breakfast there on other occasions and always enjoyed the food. This time we went for the cod sandwich and a chili burger. Portions were more than ample, but both sandwiches were woefully underseasoned with initial tastes surprisingly bland.... More

Great breakfast but that comes with a price. Locals love this place so it tends to get very busy so the service is just a wee bit slow but extremely friendly!

Great locally baked goods and friendly service. I usually get bread and pastries to take home. Get a box lunch and eat it on the beach.

This is the local hangout for breakfast. Service was great but the food was EXCELLENT! Waitress and staff were very nice as well. Will definitely go back.

We bought a 2nd home in Pacific City just over a year ago. Our kitchen was torn up doing our remodel so we had to eat out alot. We discovered that our favorite meal was breakfast served up by the friendly owners and staff of Grateful Bread. They'll make me gluten free baked goods with one day's notice. The staff... More

Loved the breakfast! Great choices for all members of the family. Try the salmon scramble. So good, I had it the next day we went. Definitely will go back.

Great attention to details; e.g. the oysters in hangtown fry were--correctly--cooked just a bit, not overdone, which often happens; the potatoes were roasted, not hashed. Be sure to take home some scones, both the savory & the sweet.

Have the smoked salmon scramble. Great French toast with challah bread and berries, too. Most dishes around $10. Homemade everything. Very pleasant dining area with a view. Highly recommended after a chilly hike on the beach.
