Description: The Heathman Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Portland and in the midst of the city’s theatre district. Executive Chef Michael Stanton uses the very best in seafood, steaks, game, and more: from line caught salmon to organically raised lamb….from heirloom tomatoes to the best berries and fruit available in the Willamette Valley. The Heathman Restaurant takes advantage of local bay shrimp and Oregon razor clams when they are at the peak of season, they use mushrooms unearthed and brought to the kitchen early each morning. The menu aspires to be a constant expression of the vast diversity of ingredients that Oregon has to offer. The extensive and award winning wine list showcases the best of the Willamette Valley, Southern Oregon, Washington and the rest of the Pacific North West, as well as some of the best wines of Burgundy, Bordeaux, and all the classic New and Old World wine regions.

Have eaten and stayed here many times and the value of it is worth every penny you spend. Their staff is extremely attentive and take care of your every need from the minute you get their. Like any other fine dining place the portions are small but the flavor is huge. If it's in your budget it for sure is... More

A lovely spot for pre theatre dining or special occasions. Great food, but on the expensive side. Beautiful hotel and a great bar with music.

The food was wonderful; albeit a bit pricey, but if you have it to spend, it is worth it. Overall satisfaction is definitely a concern of the staff.

The food has always been delicious and the staff warm and welcoming! Easter brunch was especially delicious! I always try foods that I wouldn't generally order and am always pleased to discover that it is scrumptious! Definitely worth the money! I can't believe doctormm gave them a low rating, that has NEVER been my experience with the Heathman!

We stopped in at Christmas time to check out all the beautiful decor and ended up having happy hour. The food was excellent. There was live music, which we throughly enjoyed, and the Christmas decor was lovely.

The food was the largest variety that we've seen for a brunch buffet and was delicious though very expensive. Great service and awesome dishes.

Dinner at the Heathman is usually good, sometimes excellent. But my experience with 5 people a day ago was not so good. I understand that an excellent sit down restaurant can rarely be cheap, but it should always be consistently good to excellent. I can also understand one dish might be "off." But we ordered 5 different things and all... More

I read up on Easter Buffets in Portland and came across the Heathman's Easter Buffet. It was supposed to be the best in town. It was average. By the time we were able to be seated, just after 2pm, the food presentation at some of the stations were somewhat messed up and there were not enough service utensils for the... More

I stay at the Heathman Hotel and their restaurant is just below the hotel. It's a Landry's owned restaurant who own such restaurants as Morton's, Mccormick & Schmick, Chart House Etc. so I know they have a high standard of doing things. Food is tasty and they have lots of variety. Very modestly priced for the portion and the food.... More

I had pork cheeks and scallops and the pork cheeks were so tender and flavorful they melted in your mouth. They had a nice variety of dinner selections, not the typical steak, fish, burger. I loved it!
