Didn't expect much for a Thai restaurant in The Dalles, but this place was outstanding! The yellow curry was the best I've ever had. Worth stopping even if you are just passing by on the highway.

My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant. the food and service is the best The Dalles has to offer. The value is even better. We ate at a 5 star Thai restaurant in Las Vegas once that didn't even come to close to being as good as Montira's.

We are local and love eating at Montira's! Try the salad rolls, dumplings, Pad Kee Mow, soups, and curries. The owner is committed to making the restaurant a success, has passion for her food and ensures that the customer has a good meal.
