The scallops were cooked to perfection as was the asparagus. It was one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time. The cinnamon butter was also a nice touch for the tasty rolls.

Our very favorite place for special occasions..and sometimes just because! Soups and salads are wonderful, as are the crab cakes and seafood offerings. We LOVE the ahi tuna appetizer and hubby is hooked on the French dip sandwich. Would have gone this weekend for our anniversary, but avoided the holiday crowds. Expect to be back later this week, even with...

This historic tavern and Inn was built with stone and still stands at the intersection of Rt 30 and Riute 31 outside of the Borough of Bedford, PA. Today it still commands attention. On the inside it is all colonial decor, local hospitality and good food, if you are lucky to be there when Colonial Peanut Soup is available, do...

The atmosphere on the bottom level is extraordinary. Even though we had a reservation we had to wait for 5 minutes but once we sat down in the VERY busy dining room, it was great. It's the most authentic place I've ever eaten in and I was expecting to see a Revolutionary War soldier walk in at any moment. The...

Food and service was great. Noisy on deck but beautiful view
Rustic restaurant, fair service, something on the menu for everyone.
Mother's day lunch in the tavern was great. Always a nice beer selection if you want to try something different. I could go there and just get corn and crab chowder, beer and the house salad dressing with bread to dip in it. Those are my 3 favorite things there.
The food was terrific. You have to try the clam chowder(almost like a stew). Crab cake sandwich is delicious. Top it all off with a slice of yummy oatmeal pie. You won't be disappointed. Coffee is just okay. They have a bar full of unique draft beers.
Been here a few times and love their pretzel sandwiches. Really nice spot to stop and have a beer and some food. Pretty cook history and love the ghost photos, since its haunted.
We greatly appreciate you making an effort to stop at the Jean Bonnet when you are in the area. Hope that you have many reasons to come our way as often as possible!

The setting is something of a mix of history, Disney and Cracker Barrel. It's nice enough, but far enough from its historical roots and close enough to everyday casual dining that it qualifies...
