We arrived to a beautifully presented table for twenty on the last night of the Boscastle Walking Week. The room was spacious and airy giving us chance to mingle before dinner with many of those who had participated in this annual week long event. The Festival Dinner is always a special occasion and new Head Chef and Manager Stephen Marsh... More

We went to The Wellington hotel restaurant for dinner. It was incredible from start to finish. The service and hospitality were spot on... Not too much or too little. The food was perfection at every course. We loved that it was locally sourced, fresh and all made in the hotel kitchen. The presentation would not have been out of place... More

We were recommended to try this restaurant as a new chef had taken over and we were very pleased with the results. Lovely, locally sourced food turned into beautiful, elegant, fine dining food. The food quality was exceptional, especially the fresh, local fish and the staff very friendly. The prices are quite reasonable at £27 for a 2 course meal... More

A hotel pub/restaurant just off the centre of Boscastle's central area that serves good wholesome food. Not a great range of real ales, but they were well kept. Eating area in the pub was a bit mixed in terms of decor and access, but not unpleasant. mid evening finds music of various sorts, folk singing was on the evening I... More

Had an excellent meal in the recently and beautifully refurbished restaurant- it now looks so classy - goodbye to the fripperies of Lawrence Llewellyn- Bowen and MDF in the rush job for television after the flood! Are in restaurant for a special birthday - and had a special meal! Bar meals are great too - best place to eat in... More

The waterloo restaurant has a very small menu with no specials offered. The menu has some daring flavour combinations which intrigued me as a foodie. However my partner did not fancy anything on the menu (a lot of fish) so we decided to eat in the bar instead. The main menu was slightly above average in terms of choice all... More

At the end of The Boscatle Walking Festival a dinner was arranged for us at the Waterloo Restaurant. Considering that 24 of us sat down for an evening meal, the choice was varied and covered three courses at a reasonable cost. The food was delicious and very well presented with excellent service. The decor has been changed and is considerably... More

The menu is extremely limited, there were only 3 or four choices per course the night we went with the only meat dish being a duck drumstick in a bowl of green water. £32 for 3 courses so not cheap plus wine etc. Firstly i do have to say the quality of food is good, however the portion sizes make... My family and I stayed in Crackington Haven, six miles from Boscastle at the end of August 2011. We found the Wellington Hotel in Boscastle during our travels and booked the Waterloo restaurant for an evening dinner. The food was superb. Perfect portion sizes (ie not piled high and falling off the plate!), rather, just the right amount, beautifully presented.... More
