What do you say to someone who enters your Italian restaurant and tells you they can't eat garlic? Chef Dan and his staff said, " no problem", and went on to prepare me a wonderful dinner sans garlic. I can't say enough good things about Legends from the food to the chef and staff. The first time that we went there, years ago, they had a special for two which included a bottle of wine. It might now have as much ambience as some other restaurants, but the food is good--Italian and some 'American.' Again, it was handy for us, since we could easily walk there.

The food is great here. I loved the bread that they give you to dip in olive oil! I had a tomato basil ravioli. It was very good.

Everything we ordered was really good. We tried the mussels, the polenta and Italian wedding soup as appetizers. The food is authentic & flavorful. We had no idea that you must BYOB. The waitress noticed this & brought us 3 glasses of red wine, gratis, from a bottle left by other guests. What a pleasant & welcome surprise! ☺
