We had dinner there and it was superb. We started with the Hummus and it was delicious. We then ordered the Rack of Lamb and were not disappointed. It was cooked to perfection and was served with a rice and lentil dish that was yummy. We had a Pomegranate Martini that was worth it as well. Highly recommended.

My husband and I are winners of the 'Hardest to Please' award by the Restaurants of America....we travel a lot, cook a lot and appreciate really good food at a reasonable price. This restaurant is on our short list of Great Restaurants; I doubt that Asheville, NC can put up competition for this place. The food, particularly the rack of... More

This place is really good if you are looking for something a little different. Serving staff are excellent, give detailed recommendations and try to find you the best dish not just the most expensive. Portions are perfect size, lots of different selections on the menu. Lamb shank was really good.

I was in Greenville for business and came upon this new restaurant. Nice interior and outdoor seating. Live music the night I was there. The starter of warm pita with radishes and fresh mint, gets your tastes buds ready for the rest of the meal. A cucumber martini with fresh mint was subtle, but delicious. I ordered a persian stew,... A really different cuisine for a change and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The place was busy and there was a chatty atmosphere for a Wednesday evening!Service was excellent and any dish we enquired into was explained clearly and with great enthusiasm. We had a selection of starters which was a good introduction and not over-facing. I had the Tosh kebob...tenderloin pieces in... More

Our party of six enjoyed this experience at Pomegranate on Main from our arrival through our leave. Our table was waiting, the drink and the wine offerings were varied and provided great value. The Persian cuisine was well presented and the assistance of our server, Victoria was faultless. I recommend Pomegranate on Main without hesitation.

This restaurant is a gem! The outdoor patio is great when the weather is nice & the food is delicious. The servers are knowledgeable about the cuisine and can point you towards something you would like. Our favorites include the lamb shank & the roasted salmon.

Pomegranate is a "must visit" restaurant when visiting Greenville! THE LOCATION Pomegranate is located in an ideal location within downtown Greenville. Parking is convenient, and it is right on Main Street. THE FOOD: This restaurant has some of the hands-down BEST cuisine I have ever experienced. My husband and I have traveled around the world and are definitely "foodies", but... More

I was looking forward to going here based on many peoples positive reviews. We were a party of 10. Started with a round of pomegranate martini's, which were pretty tasty. Half got the "Tour" which consisted of several appetizers, a sampling of all the kabobs offered, a MOUNTAIN of rice and tea. The food wasn't bad, but honestly it was... More

http://queenofthefoodage.com/2012/06/14/pomegranate-on-main/ Hostess was kind of rude when we called to increase our dining party from 6 to 7, acting like I was trying to increase it from 6 to 75. Appetizer: Mast Khiyar, Borani Spinach, and hummus. All were delicious, Mast Khiyar (mixture of freshly diced cucumbers, yogurt, raisins, walnuts and fresh herbs) was my favorite. Meal: Chinjeh Soltani, which... More
