First time visiters to hilton head. We were 3 couples here on our first day which was Mother's Day. I made these reservations in march thinking everything would be booked. We arrived at 7 pm. Pretty empty for Mother's Day & a Sunday night. Everyone was very attentive the service was excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. Now the food,I'm Italian from... More

One of the best in Hilton Head. Fine Dining, but not snooty. I had the pasta special, wonderful. Lots of shrimp, tomatoes, scallops over angel hair pasta. My husband had the Longuine ala Pescatora. He loves seafood and this was great. The tiramisu was the top off to a great meal. Notice the artwork. I was told the student at... More

Our first trip to Hilton Head and we found a really good Italian place. Full range of menu; eat outside or in and be assured of extremely knowledgeable staff and the owner on site. We both had different seafood -- superbly seasoned and cooked to perfection! Next door music should want to dance afterwards. Had nice chat with owner and... More

We had a party of 8 on April 27 and while we initially were disappointed our choices of a better wine were unavailable the owner and staff responded magnificently. The substitute wine selected by the owner was great. The food, including a special appetizer surprise, was outstanding. All dishes were very well prepared and delicious. This is one of the... More

Thank you for your review. I remember your group and was happy to share the Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno Toscana. I ordered a case after Dr. Moretti, the winery owner visited last week to share with us. You were also the first to receive our new "Earth and Turf". Our staff created that one. A visit to Trattoria Divina can... More

Glad you came in and enjoyed yourselves. Our bartender Paul has an incredible memory (better than mine for sure). He'll remember almost your entire conversation when you come back. In fact, if you choose to sit down, you'll find most of our staff will remember your last visit. When you come back to the island, look us up. We'll be... More

We had an "enjoyable" evening at Trattoria Divina, although there were a few "rough patches". As noted elsewhere, the complimentary Prosecco and grape/blue cheese "mini app" started the meal off nicely. There was a bit of "discomfort" when two of our party of five wished "beer", not wine. We were made to feel that "beer" is NOT ?appropriate for "fine"... More

Yesterday my wife and I had planned to try a new restaurant (Trattoria Divina) for lunch. It was recommended by Trip Advisor as the # 4 rated restaurant on Hilton Head Island. The local restaurant guide had indicated that it was open for lunch from Wednesday thru Friday. When we tried to enter, the door was locked and it was... More

Thank you for your review. We were in fact cooking for a large group and cleaning. The interesting thing about our group is that we think like family. If you're already cooking for 20 plus people another two or even four is nothing. The day you came, the Chef was also giving a cooking lesson with one of our visitors... More

Enjoyed our first meal here. We dined on a Wednesday evening without reservations, we were immediately seated and give a complimentary glass of wine. We ordered our drinks and were given another complimentary appetizer prepared by the chef-blue cheese grape. Then they brought us some delightful bread. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and a house salad with candied walnuts in... More

We arrived at 730 and only 2 other tables were busy. There was no HIGH energy, in fact it was a bit scary since the other tables were already leaving. We ordered mussels which were lukewarm and did not taste fresh. We decided to stay because of the reviews but our main courses were mediocre and we both questioned how... More

I have read your review and believe me, the entire staff takes it quite seriously. We apologize if you didn't have the experience you expected. It's a shame that while we weren't busy no one knew of your displeasure. The people associated with our restaurant have the highest level of integrity and have no need to falsely represent our establishment.... More
