My husband and I ate at Fire Island on a Sunday at lunchtime. I ordered one of the specials, a BLC (bacon, lettuce, cucumber) sandwich. It was tasty, but there was far more roll than filling. I have eaten there at night several years ago and ordered some type of shrimp dish with a variety of dipping sauces. That meal... More

The first sign to turn around should have been the restaurant was practically empty when we walked in...we should have walked out. The drinks are very pricey, as was the food which was at best mediocre. The couple next to us complained so much about their food the owner comp'ed their meal and they left. When the tap came we... We had never eaten here before and this was a really nice surprise. The waitress was outstanding, and the food matched her level of service. The hummus was a huge appetizer and very tasty. The meal was outstanding and we took some home as the portion size was large. The desert was also tasty. The restaurant is well themed. We... More

The chef at this restaurant knows how to cook. The food was superb and lots of it. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to us. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Wood carved totem poles inside add to the island theme of this restaurant. We recommend this little hidden gem highly. Look for it towards the back of Barefoot... More

We ate here on a Friday night in September 2012. There was no wait and while the restaurant is decorated so cute - tiki island look, we chose to eat outside because it was extremely cold inside. The outside is nothing special. It overlooks a parking lot. We ordered our food and got our appetizer quickly but then waited at... More

I'm not quite sure what the terrible reviews were about, but I was highly impressed. My girlfriend and I chose to eat here because of the VMB card we received at our condo and also because we had looked at it back home a few weeks before we left while looking through the VMB restaurants. I'm not quite sure what... More

We went for dinner and ordered the club sandwich, listed under the sandwich menu. The sandwich description indicated the sandwiches were served on pretzel bread, apparently all but the club. When the sandwich was delivered on white, I asked about the pretzel bread the waitress consulted with the manager who offered to sell us some pretzel bread for $1.50. I... More

Unique menu, food is good, but not a wow! But they do have a cute atmosphere and outdoor dining on the patio.
