The "cafe" in the title puts you off a bit but it is a proper restaurant. They were welcoming and reasonably busty on a Friday evening. Test 1: The poppadoms were crisp and fresh The starters were hot, delicious and well prepared. The main course continued the high standard and the aubergine bhaji which can be swimming in oil was... The curries are ( in my opinion ) mediocre over spiced and compared to others in the area I give it 4 out of ten

Greeted by the friendly staff, drinks arrived in seconds, menus well planned and enticing. Six of us enjoyed a wonderful meal, prepared and served by cheerful waiters, who even looked after our 11 month old Grandson, so that his Father could eat his meal without distraction! I have travelled extensively throughout the Indian sub-continent, staying at some of the very... More

Nice resturant, food good at a reasonable price. Nice little town for a walk around too! Would visit again if in the area.

I should say first that the quality of the food is ok. If youre a local the welcome mat is straight out, if youre not then prepared to be disappointed. Order your drinks at the bar, never put it to the bill or you will be overcharged as we were twice. The service im afraid is worse than appauling unless... More

We are lucky enough for this to be our "local" and do go there quite often!! We have never had a bad meal, the staff are wonderful and often come along for a chat. Recently been away to a large town where the Indian (have eaten there before too) was no where near as good. So I have to hand... More

I have been here about a dozen times. The food is faultless and the service is very good. You are never made to wait very long and you don't feel rushed to leave. I have to admit I did prefer it when it was BYO alcohol as it made it a cheaper meal out but the drinks prices are competitive... More

Having lived in Sturminster for 5 years we have had the pleasure of take aways and meals out at Cafe Spice many times and have never been disappointed. With curry being one of our favourites we have tested out several establishments over the years in Ferndown, Christchurch, Poole etc with Family and Friends and by far this is the best,... More
