They have happy hour sushi, so you can get a lot for your money. "Hot Cold Fish" appetizer was excellent. Rainbow Roll was boring. Shrimp Tempura dinner very good. A very casual venue, good hours, nice service. If you're staying in one of the hotels across the street it's a nice place to pop in for a meal that is... More

I can't say anything good or bad about this place. The sushi was just average, maybe I'm just spoiled by west coast sushi? Service was prompt.

This incredible restaurant is a bargain with super food & is tucked away in a strip mall in this high end beach town. My wife & I have had sushi all over the world & Sumo is now one of our favorites. We will definitely eat here again on our next visit. You get great service, fresh fish & an... More

The fish was all very fresh! I sat at the sushi bar & you could see that the fish was very fresh. I ordered the spicy octopus salad and all I can say is WOW!!! It was so good - thinly sliced & just enough spicy dressing over the cucumbers. I then had a lunch special combo of sushi w/... More

We arrived late, just before closing, so of course the service was a bit lacking, however they had a sparkling sake that was to die for! A few of us wandered over from the Meat Market for dessert only, and they had a great brownie sundae! I highly recommend.

We're no strangers to sushi so we were pleasantly surprised at how good this place was especially since it's in a little strip mall. We ordered edamame, steamed dumplings, and 4 sushi rolls. All deadly. Go here! And don't forget the saki. $10 for a whole bottle. Whoa! I walked home.

We just got back from Sumo's and couldn't wait to write a review. The food was not only excellent, but the prices were great. We were surprised to find out they had a happy hour from 5:00-7:00 daily that included $3 California, Tuna, & Salmon Rolls, and $1/piece of 5 assorted sushis (Tuna, Salmon, Crab, Shrimp, and White Fish). We... More

High quality sushi at extremely reasonable prices. The people at Trump should take some lessons from them.

Fish was fresh. Rice was good but could have been packed better. Interior is ok. Servers are very friendly. Good place if you want a quick hit, casual sushi experience.

I live in NYC -the capital of good food. When my boyfriend and I were down in Sunny Isles, FL we decided sushi was the way to go. Unfortunately we were unable to get a reservation at the number 1 sushi restaurant in Sunny Isles, so we settled for something a bit more casual and scary at first (to say... More
