There was a time when the Carriage House was always spot-on. Food was always great and staff was always friendly. Something has changed. Of course, the economy in the last 5 years has took its toll on many small businesses, and that is sad indeed, especially here. Breakfast bar--disappointing--biscuits hard and cold. Though it was a Sunday breakfast bar, they... More

While the Carriage House would not be considered fine dining by most folks, we like it for its simplicity and just plain good food. If you want a big breakfast during the off season, try the Farmers omelet served with gravy and biscuits. My wife had the special both mornings we ate there. Can't beat a plate sized waffle, 2... The staff were friendly. The food tastes like typical, bland buffet food to me though. They seating capacity was good. You had to either go upstairs or outside around the building to access the bathrooms which is not efficient for the disabled.

My fried chicken was crispy and hot. The fried okra was fresh and hot. The fries was crispy and hot. This place is clean. The wait staff was sweet. I had enough food for lunch tomorrow. Four pieces of chicken wow.

My daughter & I decided to eat here after finding Elvirs's (Wears Valley) closed on a Sunday morning. We had the breakfast special ($5.99 for a big Belgian waffle, meat & two eggs). I hesitantly ordered 2 eggs over medium, knowing I may be disappointed. Eggs were perfectly cooked!!! Service was very good & price was good. Would recommend without... More

I usually eat breakfast here on my monthly trips to Townsend. I always get the pancakes-large and delicious.

My family ate there every weekend for breakfast. Steak and eggs were one of my faves. It's a bit upscale, and the prices are median.

Absolutelyn great. Super. Everything you want for breakfast, including pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, and more bacon. Just give it a shot. You'll go back.

While vacationing in the Smokies last week and staying in our usual condo on the river in Townsend, we needed a place to eat on Thanksgiving Day. Someone told us that the Carriage House was serving. After checking on the prices, we decided that we would give it a try instead of driving to Sevierville or Maryville. The meal was... More

Great meals that are home cooked. The Sunday lunch buffet is the best ever!!!!!! Must try the fried chicken! The breakfast buffet will satisfy all diners. Don't plan on leaving still hungry!!!!!!
