Very good bb-q. Clean, cool atmosphere, Texas all the way. Take your out of state friends. They won't be disappointed.

That's right I love everything! I have never had a bad plate of food from Rudy's. Best BBQ for sure. I love how the place is warm and cozy too.

Love Rudy's turkey and ham. We have used their catering multiples times. This was my first dine-in experience, and it was not a good one. Don't like use plasticware. The chopped beef sandwich was VERY spicy. And they don't offer dinner combos. Everything is a la carte. Will go back to using Rudy's for catering only.

This was my second visit to Rudys. My first was at the Rudys down by Galveston and Houston. I came thru drive thru. I tried the lean brisket and fell in love. So Denton is a little closer to home and I went by there to try the lean brisket. It was not what I had at the other location.... More

BBQ was good, but did not blow me away. I LOVE the sauce, as that made everything great. I will go again, but it's not at the top of my list.

I love a good bbq and Rudy's was reccomended to me by the hotel staff. Nothing fancy, brown towels and plastic baskets but the foods the thing, and they have it in spades. Yummy brisket and sausages and the ribs were excellent and tangy. The chicken was abit dry, but hey, life cant be perfect. Nice beer selection (for American... More

Stopped by Rudy's in Denton, TX (Asked my new I-Pad where to go in Denton for BBQ). Nice clean place with lots of seating. It was a little hard to figure out the menu. No Plate's just sandwichs listed on overhead menu. No Fries available - just items out of the cooler (things like Slaw and potato salad). Wife and... More

We have tried numerous BBQ restaurants in the DFW area and Rudy's is the best. One reviewer commented about tough brisket, we have never had that problem. They have 2 choices of brisket, moist and lean. Moist has more fat in it and of course, lean doesn't. Most BBQ spots either have good BBQ and sorry sides or the other... More
