Good food and service in a Fort Worth hot spot. Parking is scarce during prime times. Be prepared for loud birthday greetings.

My family and I live in Mansfield, a good 35/40 minute drive. We drive all the way to the west side arts district for some awesome Mexican food. The lunch menu rotates and changes every day. They've got the best soup in the world. Excellent staff, & atmosphere offers a great dining experience. I'd suggest stopping in for some of...

This was my first trip here and everyone's been telling how good the food is. It is! We started with the bean soup which was excellent! The beef enchiladas were outstanding, as were the tamales. Next trip will be the fajitas!
We had a relaxing dinner here on a weeknight. The place was busy but not overly crowded. We felt welcome from the minute we were greeted at the door. Our eyes hadn't yet adjusted to the darkened interior and we were and led by the hand to a comfortable table on the side wall. The waiter was friendly and seemed...

Greeted by a nice man, you continue to be served by nice people. They are proud of their all fresh food policy and you are able to taste the difference. The decore has many of the old family photos. The mexican food ranges from the tex-mex cheese enchiladas to fajitas. This is worth your visit. Great to bring your family,...

Quality food, good environment and an amazing bar that's very underrated. An atmosphere for everyone and a one of a kind Fort Worth Establishment to boot. My only minor critique is that while the food is fresh, the menu could use ever so slightly a freshening.
Al, the owner, and his family started La Familia on 7th Street, then moved a block away to a much larger location on Foch, then had to double the size of that location. That should tell you something about the loyal following they have. Al or one of his senior staff will meet you at the door with a handshake...

You always know that you are going to get some good food at La Familia. You are welcomed with a hand shake and a smile, and the service is quick to meet your needs. My friend and I enjoined their flaming margaritas this trip. I had the tables with a taco which were wonderfull. That salsa is always fresh and...

This place was great. Greeted at the door with a handshake from the owner and was all fantastic from there on! Food portions are good and food was excellent!!!
The food here is so fresh! My favorites are the chicken taco's and faitas. Order the faitas with everything, peppers, cactus ... It's great. Margarita's are also yummy and strong.
