Great Vietnamese food for a fair price. Service is really good but the food is excellent. This is a authentic Vietnamese restaurant and if this is your type of food, go here.

Spring Rolls and peanut sauce--I gotta have it--and this restaurant offers some of the best. The Saigon Pancake, while messy as all get out is one of my favorite dishes. The menu is large and varied. The restaurant itself is very plain, but this place serves up some of the best Vietnamese food in town.
I am not a big fan of Vietnamese food, but what we have was good & the service was also good. My photos should give you an idea what the food & restaurant looks like.
This is a great place for authentic Vietnamese food. The service is not good and you will have trouble getting a drink refilled. This seems to be typical in authentic Vietnamese eateries.

I was first introduced to Tu Hai in the early 90's...back when I lived closer. Now we live an hour away, but if we are remotely close...it's ALWAYS our first choice. Their Pork and Vermicelli, Saigon Pancakes, and Spring Rolls are out of this world. All the fresh greens and herbs are fabulous. Then top it off with their Vietnamese...

Local viet place with some chineese items on menu. Helps if you know a little about viet food before you go in. English is sometimes not the greatest when it comes to explaining how to eat the food. Unless one of the younger workers are there you might as well forget communication/instruction. Pho (soups) come with a plate of additions...

The service was friendly but unattentive. The food was good but it would have been useful to some small explanation of some of the dishes. I tried several items. The fresh spring rolls were very good but the appetizer was large enough to be entree - three very large rolls with a tea cup full of peanut dipping sauce. Very...

I have tried alot of the Vietnamese restaurants in the DFW and Tu Hai remains my favorite. Fresh, flavorful food, and inexpensive. This establishment has been there for over 20 years and wins awards every year. I live an hour away and always make the drive and time. Love it!
