I had a nice dinner here the night before I left Dallas. The restaurant is an upscale Mexican/Tex-Mex place, with a nice bar area and great outdoor seating. Excellent tasting menu for tequilas, and great service. My dessert of churros was way too sweet, but everything else was great.

Brought a group to this restaurant. In front of our guests the manager was like um yeah you still owe us $160 cause your group didn't meet the minimum dollar amount. So we need you to pay that before you can leave. Great way to put a damper on the evening. We wont go back. Mexican restaurants are a dime... More

There is more focus on style rather than substance at Mi Dia. Atmosphere is nice in that faux, Florida-esque McMansion kind of way. Yeah, supposedly everthing is made from scratch but that doesn't necessarily mean it's great. I got the four soft taco entree which was the same size as the appetizers we ordered and it was solidly "OK". The... More

The food was incredible; very much reflected a fundamental approach to traditional Mexican dishes without a lot of fanfare and extras, but done with the best ingredients, spices/sauces, and made for an incredible meal. The margaritas were also amazing. They have many, many to choose from and throughout several price ranges. Even if you're not a margarita fan, you need... More

Great atmosphere, fresh food and excellent service. Mexican food menu with all the standard favorites and a few specialties. Outdoor upscale dining available weather permitting. Easy front door access NO STAIRS! which is great if you have limited mobility. Located near other restaurants with easy access to parking. Just off of the hwy near the historic district - a place... Truly a perceived made from scratch Mexican experience in the greater Dallas area. Tableside guacamole, and inventive recipes made with techniques and spices that bring you to Mexico. Not to shadow the superb personal service received at lunch from the receptionist to our server and his support. Too cold that day to enjoy the outdoor patio but clearly a prime... More

Located in quaint Grapevine, Mi Dia's is the best restaurants that my wife and I visited during our week in Dallas. Not far from DFW, it's a great place to start or end your trip to the Dallas area. The menu is divided into 3 regions, Mexico,Santa Fe and TexMex. I only wished I had time to take a trip... More

First of all my husband and I have never been Margarita drinkers. Too Sweet, Too Fake sugary taste and make you feel like crap after. After one taste of one of the over 50 to choose from from Mi Dia we were hooked!!! Everything is fresh from the fresh fruit to the herbs and they have the widest selection of... More

Catena Cabernet was an awsome wine and the Steak & Relleno was delicious. The combination of the two made this one of the best meals I've had in a while. The been soup, fresh guac and corn chips and salsa were also fantastic. Service was also friendly and personal.

I have read so many of the great reviews here that I thought I would LOVE it. I thought it was just okay. There a million margarita choices and sadly - I didn't enjoy the blood orange one. The tableside guac was very good (I usually find it very good most places) and my street tacos were nice as well.... More
