I have been here several times over the years the whole place from atmosphere to service is great . Every saturday we have take out from here at work the owner is usually here and very cool guy. Very affordable, tasty stuff and its a very family , community oriented.

Greeted right away very friendly service was fast n correct food was super I had the jalapeno soup n refried beans my friend had a taco salad would definately recommend.

Had lunch once again at what we feel is the best Mexican Food in The Valley. It reminds us of the food that used to be in Matamoros before the violence. Pepe's probably has the best cheese enchiladas I've ever eaten. The service is terrific. The reason it did not get a 5 rating is that the chips were greasy, but other than that, this place is awesome! Don't be deterred by a full parking lot; they get you seated very quickly.

We come to Harlingen a couple of times a year and don't miss this restaurant. Food and service are just wonderful. Prices are excellent. Can't wait for my next meal from Pepe's.

Very nice and friendly staff and the food is really good. The prices are competitive and we have a very nice lunch/dinner there every time!
