We enjoyed going there. Not too pricey for as fancy as it is. The food was warm. Not really meant for kids. We have a two year old and it was a bit tough for her to stay quit and to stay seated. She was in a car for an hour when we ate here.

We ordered just basic Italian dishes, plus Crostini and it was good. Portion sizes are very large so we had to share plates. I wasn't pleased with the $5. share fee, given the location, and having a mandatory 18% gratuity added for a party of four was a bit much for Jefferson, Texas.
This restaurant is inside the historic Jefferson Hotel. Our service was 5 star and the food was delicious. The price was not bad either.
Friend ordered Italian sub. Prosciutto tasted spoiled to her. She took the meat off the sandwich and noted a gray cast to it. We alerted the waitress right away. She took it to the chef. While we were not charged for the sandwich, the chef said the prosciutto was salt cured and was supposed to look and taste that way??!!...

My husband and I ate dinner this weekend here and really enjoyed our night. First of all, the restaurant is inside a beautifully restored hotel. We didn't stay at the Jefferson Hotel so it gave us a chance to see the inside of it. The service and the food was great! We both enjoyed our meals and highly recommend this...

This was always my go to restaurant in Jefferson but I haven't been in over a year and something has changed. The food and the atmosphere have changed a great deal and not for the better. I got my old favorite dishes and they just weren't the same. It was very sad as I have always loved this place, but...

This is a good place to eat. Great for families with children. Great service and cozy. Excellent food and the hospitality for this business is 10 out of 10
Quality of the food was not as good as the menu or the advertisement of old Italian recipes would appear. If you stay at the hotel you do get 15% off one meal.
We waited over 10 minutes to be seated and over 45 minutes to get our food, when it finally arrived it was lukewarm and cold in the middle of the lasagna. We had to be somewhere by 8pm and even after explaining that to our waitress we were held hostage waiting for the check!!
Lamache's used to be my all-time favorite. But after changing ownership and firing the chef, the food has gone downhill. I was so disappointed on my last trip. My husband ordered a steak and I ordered the shrimp diovola. The steak was not cooked as ordered and kind of cold. (???) My shrimp was swimming in more olive oil than...
