Place was clean. Servers were friendly. Prices were very reasonable. The food was great! Highly recommend.

This is a hidden gem. Great food, although both Italian and Mexican are offered on the menu, we ordered both and were pleasantly surprised at the freshness and authenticity.
If you're looking for great food, great service and a super wine list for a small family restaurant go to La Cocina Bar and Grill for Italian or Mexican food. I found the place shortly after it opened several years ago and the food has been consistently outstanding. Be sure to try any specials that Chef Ish Diaz comes up...

Quaint, cute dining in unassuming strip mall. Amazing flavors. Grandmother's pork recipe and the Chicago pasta are my two favorite's. Simply amazing.
We have been going to LaCocina since they opened and the food quality has been consistently AMAZING! They have my 2 favorites, Italian and Mexican in 1 place, and they are both fabulous. Always get friendly personal service, never a disappointment!!!

Whether it is Mexican or Italian, you can't go wrong at La Cocina. They do both very well with recipies from their family members.
The food was great. I had the special, pork with a fabulous green sauce. My wife had pasta, Chicago style. which she said was wonderful.
This family restaurant specialiizes in Mexican and Italian cuisine. I know this sounds somewhat odd but Ishmael Diaz, the chef/owner carries it all off with style and grace. I just hope I can continue to...

One side of the menu is Mexican and the other side is Italian, and they do both well. They serve the best chips in town.
We almost didn't eat here. The name of the restaurant is "La Cocina Bar and Grill" and from the outside, it looks like a place where someone might grab several drinks at lunch and stagger back to work. The windows are covered with blinds and it did not look at all welcoming. We were hungry though, so we looked at...
