I'm very sad to report that Cibo Vino is no longer open. it was an excellent restaurant and we miss it very much!
Very nice! This restaurant offers very good food, atmosphere and service. Mind you I hail from an area that offers many dining options and am comparing Cibo Vino to them. And, Cibo Vino can hold its own and possibly stand alone. The intimate feel to your dining experience may start with their tablecloths, candles, and live music which is the... More
Though the competition for "Best Restaurant in Winnsboro" honors is heating up, I'm happy to say that for folks looking for a *special* night out, ciboVino is still the place to go. Dinner only here - the elegance would be a bit much for lunch - but Winnsboro has several wonderful places to go for lunch. Rick, Sharon, Brennan, (Hi... More
Just because you want to go to a white tablecloth, candlelit restaurant for dinner, doesn't mean you don't want to get full. Obviously Cibo Vino thinks this is the case, as their portions are small. I ordered pasta which was just ok, could have gone up the road and has delicious pasta at a lower cost. My husband had an... More
I can't make a judgement on your idea of 'small, mediocre' portions because I'm not sure how much free wine you each drank. However, let me just express how deeply saddened I am about your choice to not come back due to my 'arrogance'. You seem like such a nice couple. :) More
Fabulous! We love Cibo Vino. Great food! We live in Dallas. Cibo Vino is a very good restaurant. We have dinner whenever we are in town. Our guests are impressed with the service, food and it is so nice to meet Rick who makes a point to introduce himself .
Great italian style food with a wonderful atmosphere. A little on the pricey side. The atmosphere is wonderful with a brick oven in the backdrop. Delicious personal pizzas--brick oven style!
Winnsboro is proud to have a restaurant of this standard. There are salads, pastas, steaks, and chicken entrees plus wood-fired pizzas. Lobster Bisque is very popular and oh so rich. Dessert is fine...my favorite is the Italian Cream Cake. Red or White table wine is complimentary. The preparation is first class. Service is great, too. Worth a trip to Winnsboro... More
People, this place is the real deal. I simply can't believe Winnsboro has a restaurant of this caliber. I grew up in this town and remember all too well when the Trade Winn motel was considered fine dining. Cibo Vino is better than anything we have here in Arlington. My husband and I ate here 2 nights in a row... More
Cibo Vino offers the kind of quality and taste you would expect to find in the big city, tucked away in a tiny East Texas town. The chef and owner hand stretches the pizza dough and fires it in his unique stone oven imported from Naples. But pizza isn't all they offer. You can find everything from fresh hummus and... More
A most welcome and wet oasis in the midst of an otherwise barren, dry and chicken-fried East Texas culinary desert.
