The place is small but the flavors are big. We are talking homemade soup like you wait in live for in New York. The day I ate there it was filled with locals, because it is off the beaten path, and doesn't have trendy curb appeal from the outside. The soup was so good, I bought a quart to go,... More

I stopped in there and it looked cute from the outside but the place is small. I'm a tall guy and my head could almost touch the ceiling. It was busy with a line but don't get me wrong the food is great. It's like an NYC place so small.

This is surely the place where the teeny tiny woman started her business. The cielings are low and there seems to be about a hundred square feet of dining space and we LOVE it! The ladies who run the place are warm and friendly, the mismatched furniture adds to the character, and the food is healthy and tasty! We go... More

Just a great place to have lunch. Small place with crowded tables but worth it for the homemade soups and fresh, oven roasted turkey stuff. Don't let on that you are not a local!

The best tomato soup, hands down. Homey atmosphere, fresh food and desserts, friendly people...it is a treat! Away from the maddening crowds.

This is a homey and yummy soup and sandwich place on top of Main Street. The. food is delicious, the service efficient, and the decor is funky and fun. My friend and I were sufficiently impressed so that we brought my son in today as he took a break from skiing. He agreed!

There's a reason why Uptown Fare is a locals' favorite! Owner Karleen and her daughter Nivin put lots of local love in their homemade soups, salads and sandwiches....oh and desserts like Grandma used to make. Go for the egg salad or turkey salad sandwich - the new zucchini and brie soup is delicious as well. In the summer, the watermelon... More

Karleen and her two helpers manage to put out the best lunch in town in the most unlikely space. Anyone over 6' must duck to change rooms, but trust me, it's worth it. Open 10 to 4 on weekdays, the food is fresh ( a new roasted turkey every day!) and delicious. Soup, sandwiches and salads and combos of same.... More

If you are looking for fresh and honest food, this is your spot to eat lunch. Everything looks great and tastes even better. When we were there they were struggling with a turkey and the turkey sandwich that came from that was simply delicous. Clearly everything is homemade and very fresh. The salades were also excellent, the soup was great.... More
