We enjoyed sitting out in the patio and our dinner was excellent. We shared a huge quesadilla and had our own individual salads. A lovely evening.

We were staying at the motel next door and visited Clarke's for dinner. Very nice friendly waitress served us. I had 1/2 serve of ribs( huge so I checked really 1/2) and my friend had files mignon. His steak good, my ribs a bit fatty compared to others I've had. Served with nice selection of vegetables and salad to start...

Was hoping for a "good meal" after a long day of hiking. Were very disappointed. The only good thing was the draft beer - very cold. Baked potato must have been sitting in a warmer for days. Steamed veggies were lukewarm. Trout was okay but had too much butter sauce. Would not recommend.
We started with chicken wings which were okay. Then we had ribs and a ribeye steak. Both was nothing special. We have seen better quality during our vacation in the southwest. The vegetables did not have much flavor. The best of what we had was in fact the beer. The waiter was friendly. In total not more than average.
Try their fresh water trout. It's their specialty. Just about everything they serve you is in large proportions; so, you could split. Great breakfast and plenty of it.
We've been at Clark's twice. After we made very good experience with the dinner, we came back for the breakfast. For dinner I had a steak which was good with nice vegetables and smashed potatoes. My husband had a very good cheeseburger. Everything tasted like home cooked and the price was absolutely ok. The service was friendly, quick and attentive....

Given that the tiny town of Tropic (pop. 460), just 10 miles from Bryce Canyon NP, has only this restaurant and a pizza place, you'll likely end up eating here unless you take a long drive or cook all of your meals yourself (Clarke's also has an adjoining food market) in one of the many tourist cabins scattered along Highway...

Our server was lovely and chatty. Food was average nothing special but much better than I expected after reading reviews. Dessert of Blackberry Pie was the highlight of the meal!
Service was slow. Great if you are not rushed, but if you want to get in/out, a bit too country for me. Food was average at best, not bad, but don't get your expectations high. Not many choices of where to eat in this part of town, but I would not make a special trip there.
Food was above average. Little overpriced. my advice for traveling to this area is bring your own food or eat in Kaneb.
