i personally got food poisoning for my first and only time at jax. decent selection of vt beers on tap, but overpriced. outdoor seating which is nice, but the staff is rather slow and doesn't pay much attention to the status of your meal. which can be both good and bad, depending on your needs. its not a horrible place,... Driven past so many times in the past... Great place with good atmosphere and decor and really good food. Also a nice bar. I will go back when there is a band on.

Stopped here before seeing a concert at the Pickle Barrel. We were looking for a late night bite and I was told to pop in to Jax. They had food late but man it was the worst. The crowd was local,rowdy and rude. The staff was a bit better but not much. If your out late and everything else is closed i guess you have no choice otherwise plan ahead... More
