Unfortunately this restaurant is very hit or miss with waiters not having much kowledge but trying to be both waiters and barternders. The waiter could not make a martini to save his life. The lamb was way overcooked. The manager owner was very nice and greeted and talked with patrons.

I cannot speak to other meals, but the breakfast buffet was excellent. It was complimentary with the room, and included everything you'd expect in a breakfast buffet: eggs, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, meat, cereal, breads and toast with jam, juice and coffee.

Just stayed at the Wilburton Inn last week. Room was very clean and comfortable.The inn gives you an esoteric feeling of nostalgia from the 1920's. Phenomenal art throughout the building. The dining room at the Wilburton Inn is in the mansion's former billiard room. It's a lovely setting for very good cuisine. The breads are provided by the innkeepers son, a professional baker. And the French chef, who sources his ingredients locally, turns out delicious meals.

I attended the Wilburton Inn's Farm Night event this last Tuesday and it was wonderful. All food was grown by the innkeepers' family farm and was accompanied by great selection of Vermont mircobrews. See my review of Wilburton Inn. It describes dinner by a roaring fire, delicious duck. My companion had the steak equally wonderful. We were encouraged to relax, take our time and make an evening of our dinner by the fire. How often does that happen anymore?!
