So, I recently revised Julio's and I have to say, "What the hell happened?"....It's WAY better than the last time...the service, as always was efficient, but the food has improved markedly. Excellent, excellent, excellent...authentic, and consistent...I'm so happy...Julios was my favorite Mexican joint and it is again...I'll be back!

The owners and chef have done a great job in upgrading over past years. Just had the 3 braised pork enchilada plate, good, good, good. Service is excellent and a nice feel to the place. Worth the visit if you just want a good Margarita and nachos or a full dinner. Like to come here with friends for dinner it's... More

Tacos were AMAZING; the place was packed! Our waiter was awesome, gave us good recs on other places to eat/drink while we were in town, although we should have just gone back here for a second night. Prices are great and food is tasty! We'll be back!

Unfortunately the salsa was not salsa it was canned diced tomatos very watery. What a bummer, service was okay didn't seem to care if there were guests or not.

Went to Julio's twice. Loved the tacos, and the staff was super friendly and took the time to get to know our taste in beer. They made great recommendations and introduced us to a couple of Vermont craft beers we loved. Great experience.

Went here for lunch with a friend. The service was good - never had to wait too long for anything. The food was good - nothing earth-shattering but everything was tasty. We both enjoyed our meals. Good location in the center of Montpelier. If I could, I would give it 3.5 stars. I'll go back again.

If there had been any sign of a manager I would have certainly complained. There was one server, one bartender, and one combination host/busser on. We ordered guacamole and asked for it with no garlic. I also order the carne asada. It came with guacamole that was so loaded with garlic as to make it inedible. Now if someone orders... More

We stop at Julios every time we are in Montpelier. The food is good Mexican(for Northern Vermont) and the prices are reasonable. Good selection of beer and drinks and the atmosphere is kind of fun, certainly casual. Frequented by locals and the young crowd. I am never disappointed.

Everything was good and the price fair. Housemade guacamole is always a treat and the specialty margaritas (pomegranate) was great.
