No trip to Chincoteague is complete without several trips to the Creamery. It is always busy. It is hard to say if it is best to go for dessert or on the way home from the beach.

Always exactly what we expect....great service even while incredibly busy. The line reached outside and they even thought ahead to put the menu's out as well. The girls that work there are able to take 4 orders at once and patient with kids and their indecision when faced with the many choices of flavors, etc. The ice cream is AMAZING!

We visited on an afternoon when they weren't busy. The ice cream was rich and delicious! When we passed in the evening, the place was absolutely packed with a long line out the door.

Don't even think about anywhere else for ice cream on the island. If the lines go out the door and around the building - there is a very good reason! Get a just made waffle cone, but order a size smaller than you usually do - the portions are huge.

all homemade, all good. great service. be prepared to wait in line at times but it is more than worth it!
