This guy has cornered the market on Chincoteague. It appears that he has probably put some of he old school restaurants out of business that were on the water. I drive almost an hour to stop at this awesome out door BBQ. Its simple and the beach shack feel is just too cool. The food is good and the price is on the mark for the quality. Its just one of those places you hope will always be there. Honestly every town should have one of these !!!!

This is one of my favorite things about Chincoteague. The food is excellent. I love the different items that they offer. The atmosphere is fun. I truly could eat there every night. My husband I very much look forward to stopping here on our weekend getaways. The best BBQ on east coast! Our fav is the woody sandwich. Get an extra to take to the beach with dessert! Woody and his staff are very friendly and aim to please. This is a must stop while visiting the beautiful island!

Every time I go to Assateague beach, I stop here, and sometimes when I don't. I love eating BBQ outside, and I love IBC Sodas! What is not to like about this sort of place. When you hit the circle, look for it!

A perfect place to pull off and eat really great fresh food on your way to or from the beach! We had crabcakes and all the awesome sides, while enjoying the hippie/cool ambiance and playing the fun games in the beautiful Virginia sunshine.

THE best BBQ anywhere! You have your choice of sauces and no prepack cole slaw. Woody's slaw is homemade on premises. Very cute spot too.
