Wow. Amazing fare, splendid service and a more than decent, exceptionally priced wine menu. If we're back in Front Royal, we;ll be making reservations.

We stopped there for lunch The unique menu is filled with surprises that change daily. The food is very fresh and prepared perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Long-time residents of Front Royal, our close friends took us to this great little restaurant. The owner greeted us and assisted the servers. He even suggested the wine which was superb. The staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Located in old town Front Royal we would have never found it but it was recommended by several local people and the staff at the visitors center. As the manager said "not a fancy place, just great food" and I agree with him.

For such a small town, Front Royal is blessed with a number of excellent restaurants (Element, Wine & Duck, Yamafuji and Soul Mountain come to mind), but I have to say that Vino E Formaggio (now Vino 124) is hands-down my new favorite restaurant in town. Great crab cakes in front royal Virginia - who would've guessed? Admittedly I like most restaurants I go to so I often report a combo of my thoughts and my dining partner's reviews. We both had the crab cakes and they were delish. The owner/host was a hoot too.
