Had a great dinner there the other night with my two friends. I highly recommend the Marco Polo red bowl with their limonada!!

...you could pretty much make this stuff at home. My judge of any restaurant is- could I make this myself? If the answer is "Never in a million years" or "Not without a lot of effort," I'd give a place a 5 stars. 4 stars goes to a place that's awesome, I probably could do on my own, but isn't... More

They do have some good vegan soup. A little pricey but the soup was made with quality ingredients and spiced just right.

After being on the road for days on end my family and I were sick of fast food. It was so nice to eat real food. It was fresh and yummy! The girl taking our order was sweet and explained the dishes to us. The owner or manager came by to check on us. It was clean and quiet. The... More

The people who work there are uber-friendly. The food is fresh and wholesome. The prices are very high. And the portions are very, very small. I often take food home from restaurants, but here, I went home hungry. And my husband cooked another dinner after we got home. He really liked the furniture. The tables are very pretty. Music was... I stopped by the day before Grand Opening. What a pleasant experience. Owner and staff quite attentive and friendly even though they were working hard on their Grand Opening. I walked out with a couple soups to sample and wow...I went back for more! We own a B&B in Weyers Cave and like to have quality places to recommend to... More

The owner was stopping by each table to be sure people were pleased and to get feedback for any needed improvements. She is as delightful as her food. Her business model is very inspiring. The food was very fresh and tasty. The bowls are made by two employees, the tables were made by a local artist. The background music was... More

This is a hopping place during weekday lunchtime. Lots of choices for those practicing a vegan diet, looking for gluten free, or liking spices. Salads, soups and sandwiches are their specialty

I went with my family to their Port Republic Road location and found the food great. It was a little expensive but I received lots of food.

Thank you for your comments! This is always very helpful. We're glad your family came and enjoyed your time. Since A Bowl of Good is family owned we are always thrilled to hear of other families who find this a good place to eat. *You might find our half-price breakfasts at the moment (until January 31) an appealing price point.
