La Carretta has become an institution in lynchburg and everyone's comfort food. Whether its authentic or not can not best be answered by me. We frequently visit with family and we all have a favorite dish and we have to get several cheese dips for the table because that is not to be missed!

La Carreta is THE place for Mexican food at a great price and the folks that run it are soooo nice...we are fortunate to have TWO of them in Madison Heights! Pick either one...you won't go wrong!

This is the only La Carreta that I tend to go to. The food is always great, it comes out fast, the waiters don't try to grope you and hit on you constantly like the ones on langhorne do. The prices can't be beaten. The food is as close to authentic Mexican as I can find in in Lynchburg. Definitely a top choice when choosing places to go out to eat with my family and friends. As a bonus (for a Diet Coke lover), they have massive sodas for a very reasonable price.

Nothing spectacular. Just your normal Mexican restaurant. I have been here several times. Very good service.

Taquitos are incredibly tasty. Guacamole is fantastic! Try the premium margaritas with the extra tequila shot on the side.
