Plaza Azteca is our favorite place for really good Mexican food in the Midlothian area. The food is hot and fresh. The place gets packed on the weekends, so go early.
Ordered #17 from Burrito section of menu. I think it was frozen micro wave food. I could have gotten a Mexican frozen dinner for a grocery store for $2.39 and it would have tasted better to me.
This is about like any average Mexican restaurant. The margarita was too sweet but other than that the food was okay. We liked the Salsa. The seared tuna was done well. I would go back but only when it would be convenient.
We went here for dinner and it was my first time trying Plaza Azteca. I had a Groupon that had expired for the promo value but was still obviously good for the amount paid ($25). We had dinner and when it came time to pay I enclosed my groupon with the check and sent it off. The waitress then came... More

I have never been to this place but my cousins suggested it. One neat feature is they make guacamole fresh right at your table which was good, although it was a bit salty. There was not anything that stood out as outstanding, but the food was good and the same for the service. The menu was large and had many... More
We had a post 8pm dinner on a weeknight. The positives: friendly hostess, fast service, acceptable food, and I paid cash so no one could steal my credit card number (as happened on my last visit). The negatives: (1)the food came out a little TOO quickly for my liking. It would have been nice to imagine that our meals were... More
this is a good place for the mexican holiday because they dont aggressively promote it. Americanized Mexican food. service increased quality as the meal went on. very heavy poured margarita. Plentiful chips and salsa. the requested hot sauce is very good. Imitation lobster enchalada. Overall good.
Quite possibly the most bizarre design I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The food here is not spectacular but is the decent, standard fare I would have anticipated for this type of establishment. The problem is the bathrooms. First, they are undeniably the centerpiece of the restaurant, with giant neon signs guiding you into immense, airport terminal style open... More
We had a wonderful time on April 5th celebrating my wife's birthday - service was excellent and the food and drinks hit the spot. Will need to run today to work off the excess calories, but it was totally worth the splurge. Johnny Mac
