The food here is authentic and well done, another area family run/owned business. Most of the dishes are old family recipes. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are reasonable as well. Desserts specials are homemade and this is the only place in the valley area I've found Italian Wedding Cake.

A friendly, well run honest-to-goodness Italian restaurant with a good selection of beers. Sauces and pizza are exceptionally well executed.

My husband and I visit Smith Mountain Lake several times a year. We always make it a point to go to the Tuscan Tavern on each visit. Not a lot of ambiance but we LOVE the pizza!
