To Elliniko, near the Naxos Resort Hotel, is an absolute MUST for every Naxos visitor. Authentic Greek cuisine, the food is exquisite. Extremely good prices, exceptional atmosphere, welcoming friendly hosts and a, bouzouki player of exceptional talent, a true artist.

This restaurant serves good traditional fare, in a cozy setting. They provide "free" live music (but there is a "cover charge" for bread and olives--though minimal fee and worth it). The wine options are good.

This place really disappointed me. The appetizers were okay, but the fish and calamari we ordered were typical fried and overcooked middling tourist food. At least it wasn't expensive, but if I were Greek, living by the water, I would be embarrassed to serve seafood like that.

My husband and I passed by Naxos a week ago and went to this place three days in a roll because of the tasty food. The restaurant is one minute from the main tourist drag which means peace & quiet from the trap touts. Another plus is you can see some of the daily dishes on display, thus avoiding ordering... More

The food was of average quality, although good value, with large helpings. The live music was enjoyable, but the plate smashing display seemed a self-consciously stereotypical attempt to entertain tourists and ended up detracting from the whole experience by going on for too long. The restaurant didn't live up to our expectations, which were based on its Tripadvisor rating.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim when we were hungry and strolling around town. Michael the owner served us when we came in. He told us he was from Montreal and his father was Greek. He said the restaurant was rated #1 on tripadvisor- I see he's # 2 now. We had a lunch of Greek salad... More

This is by far the BEST restaurant on the island of Naxos. Mike and his wife Katerina have created a culinary gold mine with their traditional home-style cooking, their wonderful service and their congenial atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants in Naxos and then there's TO ELLINIKO. Thanks Mike and Katerina!!!! Bill Petros (Washington, DC photographer) and Jan Evans (Silver... More
