Picturesque place. Warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. Service excellent. Meals - all 4 - top quality, lovely presentation and all a taste treat. Applaud our host for making us feel at home. Highly recommend that you make the trip.

My wife and I went their for our wedding anniversary, such a great idea. Romantic atmosphere, great food, great service, and great wines. Booking is essential but I recommend this restaurant. Will be back.

Great night at tirohana. Started with a welcoming drink from Toby and followed by a fantastic three course dinner. Plenty of choice. This was a five star meal at a four star price. If in Martinborough make sure you make a reservation here. We will be back during our next visit

We were staying on the Estates package deal where dinner was included, and were looking forward to it. We had a feeling it was going to be a loud room when we walked in and saw a table set for nine and no soft surfaces to cut the noise- we were right. Toby (who is very gracious and attentive) apologized... More

I dined at Tirohana on Wednesday 06 March with my husband and daughter. From the moment we arrived until the end of the evening we had fantastic service from Toby. We had the fixed 3-course menu and all our meals were delicious. We just had to sneak a bite of each others meals to ensure we weren't missing out on... More

Meal was one of the best we had on our three-week visit to New Zealand, and the service was five star quality!

We dined at Tirohana on Thursday 07 March and loved it. The fixed 3-course menu provided ample choice for each course and the food was lovely. Service was warm and friendly (Toby was a great host) and the pace of the meal very well managed. We cycled from Peppers resort to the restaurant which is highly recommended (although it was... More

Gorgeous setting! Tables spaced far enough apart to give privacy. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Very attentive staff who also drove us back to the Old Manse.

From the personal greeting on our arrival right up to the petit fours to finish, Tirohana excelled. We booked our dinner online (bookings are recommended) and on our arrival were greeted personally at the door with a sauvignon squeeze (a tasty blend of sauvignon, lemonade and pineapple which I'll have to try at home) and shown to our table tucked...
