As many know, it is not so easy to get wholesome food in the inner Peninsula. The In Place was a pleasant surprise - i had the scallops which were prepared come il faut; cooked just right, with sauteed veggies and basmati rice on the side, all for $15. Can't beat that. Otherwise, the menu was mostly burgers and fried... More

Stopped for breakfast on our way through town. Looked like a local hangout with lots of vehicles in the lot. We had biscuits and gravy with eggs that was very good. Tasty sausage gravy, ate every bite.

Worst benches I've ever sat on. Very lumpy. Whole decor needs update. Same as all restaurants in Forks: they seem to originate from another lifetime. We decided not to splurge for the $21 prime rib, instead we had their featured burger with special sauce (which I could not discern) and teryaki chicken sandwhich. Both were OK. Clam chowder was very... More

We didn't expect much in a small town. I ordered the grilled shrimp and crab sandwich. There was too much butter/oil used. Otherwise it was all right. My hubby ordered fried fish but it was over cooked.

Went there because the person behind the desk at our motel recommended it. Its across the parking lot of the motel. Its okay. It doesn't look like Forks has many choices. We ordered a club sandwich (good), Steak (average), Salad (average) and a taco salad (average). Servings are large The first booth they seated us in had a spring pushing... More

Some people forget they are in a small town and expect too much. I can say that although the food was not outstanding, it was just what I expected for a tiny town like this. I actually ate at this restaraunt on two separate trips to Forks. It's a nice little town cafe with warm comfort food. The salad bar... More

We where here in February 13. We had the One Eggs. My sons and my scrambled eggs where nearly cold as the plate arrived. Hashbrowns was OK but could be a bit more. My wife had a hard boiled egg which was peeled already and cold as out of the fridge.

We were starving and drawn in by the home cooking sign. The salad bar which consisted of lettuce, pasta, potato salad, cottage cheese and dressing should have been our first sign to leave, We did stay however, mozzarella sticks were served with a chili sauce instead of marinara. Weird or a Washington thing? The fish and chip looked gross, taste... More
