Had problems with reservations, seating and service on my first two trips. Recently with a group of friends and we all had a great experience and was offered a good table. The menu has only a few choices, but they all are excellent. The group was from out of the area and were very impressed with Over the Moon's quality... More

Our daughter had just had a baby, so we arrived in a positive state of mind. We happened to pick this place as we had a promotional coupon and it was near by. But I think many dinners out are celebratory and small places are often selected in part out of a hope of stumbling on something unique and special.... More

Actually, the food was great in a boutique-like decor. Just didn't like parking away from the restaurant in that part of town.

Lunch was disappointing after reading the great reviews. The grilled cheese was soggy, potato salad was made with pickle juice as the second ingredient, and the waitress forgot the iced tea. It was a fun place, but the lunch and the lunch menu was overrated. Maybe stick to dinner?

If you’re looking for an intimate environment, a romantic setting, a place to let time disappear on a rainy day, this is your place. Very quaint, it is located in an ally way and it is tiny. As I recall, there are 8 tables. If you talk loud and want your conversation to not be heard by others, better find... More

If you are looking for an eclectic experience, try the Over The Moon Cafe. The dining room was cozy with funky furniture. Loved the old books on the tables. Perfect for a quiet dinner. We enjoyed our entree selections - Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese and the slow cooked chicken ragu red wine sauce with garlic, oregano and thyme, over... More

A little out of the way, but well worth the effort to find it. The entire staff was very cordial and friendly. We had the crab cakes for starters. Then on to soup and salad, both were very good. But, the bleu cheese/balsamic flat iron steak was the best. Paired up with a Argentinian Malbec red wine, it was most... More

Decor of Over the Moon is sort of funky with black table cloths and napkins, bead lamps, bare brick, and earthquake reinforcement bars. Service was attentive. Very good cheese bread was served. The restaurant had a nice selection of wines in the $30-$40 range, but there was no liquor. The reverse of many restaurants, we were disappointed by the appetizers... More

This restaurant tucked in an alley is so different and so wonderful all at the same time! There was only waitress when we were there celebrating our anniversary last night, but she was gracious, sweet and the service was excellent. The duck breast was beyond good, my hubs had tuscany chicken and loved every morsel...Topped off with their banana cream... More
