Every time we go here, we have nothing but the best food and service! Try the arroz con pollo or just a big burrito! :) you will not regret it!!! Take friends and family! Also have great margaritas!! Still a family friendly place though.. :) if Fortas are your thing, they are also delicious!

Very good authentic Mexican food ... it's not that westernized Mexican food sold at other so-called authentic Mexican restaurants, like Azteca, El Toro, Chevy's, etc.. And yes, like all local eating establishments in Mexico, there are no chips and salsa here ... chip & Salsa is strictly an American thing. The service is okay ... it can get a bit... More

This is the best Mexican food west of the Cascades. Today I had the three enchiladas combo. Muy bueno. Great mole. Generous helping of guacamole. Plus rice, beans and a fried steak or slab of chicken on the side. The plate was heavy with food - at least two meals and a sandwich there. Their tamales are very good, too.... More

And I heard this in Yakima, Washington, where they have some exceptional Mexican restaurants! Authentic, hand-made on the spot, flavorful, unique. In a tiny stip mall, you'll miss it if you blink....but that would be a big mistake.

They just take up room you could use for truly good food. The hot, site made tortillas were heavenly. The meats divine. On top of our dinners we both had a tamale. If we had as good a place at home I'd by the tamales by the bag like you can here. The green sauce was bland but the brown... More

You'll come across dishes you won' find in typical Mexican restaurants: seafood, Kenya, ceviche and more. Even familiar dishes are better when prepared by the wizard cooks here. The shrimp and salsa appetizer is outstanding, as are the tacos al pastor and the home-made tamales. In fact, it's all good and some Friday evenings there is live mariachi music.

Really good food made from scratch and cooked to order, right from the open kitchen. The daily specials are excellent, especially the Thursday Chile Rellenos. My wife and I make it a point to go here at least once a month. Highly recommended.

Great Mexican food-There "motto is no chips or salsa", OK I like chips and salsa. But it is not served, what is served is delicious real Mexican food, beef tongue, mutton, beef cheeks and other different meats. I love the mutton burrito, the cilantro shrimp appetizer is really good. They have a whole fried fish that is amazing, but I... More

I love Vuelve a la Vida. I like saying the name. I love how you get a slice of beef with your chicken burrito. I love the Carne Asada. I love the Mole. I love the Horchata. It would be made better if they ever get their liquor license and don't have to sell wine-based Margaritas. That just doesn't work!

Don't think about asking for chips and salsa - unless you want to hear a 20 minute diatribe about why you won't get them! To me, the tell of good Mexican food is when I see actual Mexican's eating it - and this place has them. The second thing I look for is hand made tortillas - and it has... More
