I didn't eat here, just stopped to browse and have some tea. They have some unique items in here, and the tea is wonderful. I even took some home and still drink it from time to time.

All the food is prepared fresh using local ingredients by a very young, talented chef. The owner works in the restaurant too and was extremely friendly.
The sign said tearoom but in fact there was an extensive menu in this eclectic little restaurant. From the old tapestries to the wall paintings, the atmosphere was to our liking. While there were many tea options available to choose from, the menu was much more interesting than that with tasty food options that were freshly prepared. The owner was...

My brother and I were patrons and enjoyed the food and tea... We wish restaurant could accommodate larger groups.
We went to Shaharazade for a birthday lunch and enjoyed ourselves. The decor is best described as electic with a middle eastern flair. Parts are shabby but I think intentionally so. The staff is small probably consisting of the owner and the chef. The woman who acted as a server was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the three tier...

If you haven't been to Shaharazade's for a while, now would be a great time to rediscover this great little restaurant. The quiche was flaky, warm and...

Needed a snack in mid afternoon after our Antietam tour. Between 4 of us had a high tea, wrap, and a cream tea. Excellent. Unusual comfortable decor - Persian I guess. Menu eclectic and interesting. Good luck to owner Lisa Only. PS Shepherdstown delightful.
Great atmosphere and decorations. Plan on spending some time to relax, catch up and enjoy the atmosphere. And do not miss the scones. Oh my goodness are they amazing!
