Simple menu, 6 soups and a few sandwiches. We went with a cup of potato and a cup of cabbage. Both served with a roll and butter. The soups were tasty and filling. Will stop again.

Excellent selection of homemade soups. Charming proprietor. We especially liked the potato soup. You need to walk to the back of this property (behind the coffee shop) to find the soup bar, but it is worth it.
A really good bowl of homemade goodness. But you have to look for it. It at the end of a short row of shops tucked away in the corner but worth the find.
I was so happy to see this place still open when we got to Door County this year. All of the soups we've tried are fantastic (a rustic potato soup, broccoli and cheddar and a brat-cheese-kraut concoction) and are served with a delicious soft bread roll. The place is tiny but really comfy looking (we always take the soup to...

What a great idea for a small business…they offer a few kinds of soups each day (and cover all bases….vegan, vegetarian and soups with meat) and a couple of sandwich choices. I tried several soups on this year's trip to Door County and last year's too (when I think they first opened) and they have all been good (they come...

Czarnuska should appear to both locals and tourists...

This was a great place! I love that they have vegetarian and gluten free options. Not too expensive, just right. We will return!
I live in Door County and I frequent Czarnuszka's - the soups are really good, you get a roll with it, and if you want to get a soda or sandwiches, he has those, too. Eat Soup!!
I learned about Czarnuszka Soup Bar in a Door County magazine that I picked up on a visit to DC late Oct 2011. On another visit to DC last week, I had the opportunity to try it. It is very small inside but since it was a perfect June day, we ate outside on a deck table. The restaurant had...

This is a soup-only carryout place, although there are a couple of small tables inside. The selection of soups isn't deep, but we tried four during our stay in Ephraim, all were really excellent. Check out their Facebook page for daily postings of new selections, we're now a Czarnuszka "friend."
