$50 for an adult on Mothers Day for a buffet where nothing rose above mediocre, and most fell well below. No seafood, tough prime rib, overcooked halibut.....a costly disappointment for what should have been a celebration.

The Route 66 Brunch Buffet was a great start to our Sunday in Milwaukee. Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's to start and a great buffet including create your own omelet, carved ham and prime roast along a complete buffet of hot and cold selections... The Smyth also provided a menu to order unusual and tasty breakfast fare like; cranberry & golden... More

Nice breakfasts, great burger for lunch, nice cheese plates. Nice bar staff. A little pricey but portions were generous, and we split a number of items. Small, but nice wine list.

I ate the best meal I have had in a long time at Smyth. Beautful food, great wine recommendation and great service, enjoyed it all. And what's more it wasn't fussy - it all just worked - WELL DONE!

I was curious how The Smyth would fare compared to the Iron Horse Hotel in terms of charm, so took a business associate to try it out. The interior at night was dark and mysterious. Servers were polite and helpful. I sampled the surprisingly tasty wisconsin beer cheese soup (so much better than it sounded and wonderful- especially with the... More

Great decor, however our food was over cooked, was very bland, and serving proportions were small. My wife and I left feeling disappointed.

The food was OK, although a neat place to visit for a drink. The menu is not very exciting as I was not sure what to order. I think out of towners think its a cool place but for the locals, just OK

Nice bartender and tasty drinks and appetizers makes for a fun time at Smyth. We also had a great breakfast there the following morning.

We went to the Iron Horse for a date night. Had fabulous pre-dinner drinks at Branded - the cucumber G&T was fab and the Gimlet had fresh muddled lemon and lime- delish. We each had 4 courses at Smyth and each was better than its predecessor. You really can't go wrong. Whether it is a special occasion or just a... More

A trip to Milwaukee is not right unless you visit here. An old mattress factory now a hotel, restaurant and bar. Really cool place.
