Took a friend that was staying with me from England to La Merenda on a random Wednesday and the place was ROCKING... still got a table right away. Shared a BUNCH of small plates - the ones that stand out are the beef stroganoff and duck confit crepes - seriously just amazing. It is a bit pricey, but for a... More

Any place that supports local farmers & artisans is a plus. The menu has selections from all over the world. The waitress was very helpful in choosing items. I was disappointed with the patatas bravas. We also had 2 salads, short rib special & empanadas & they were all delicious. You can't beat the prices. Excellent value for the unique... More

My buddy who is a Tapas restaurant freak talked me into going to this place because they had half priced wine on Mondays. Not only was the wine a great value, but the food and service were excellent as well. We ate at the bar which I enjoy because you get to meet new people which was the case on... More

A group of us were in Milwaukee for lunch. It was excellent. The food was innovative and very good. The service attentive. It is very convenient to the Harley Museum. We had an event there and it was easy to drive and park at both locations. The small plate entrees were easy to share. The desserts devine. We shared a... More

Tapas are great, but they're even better when they're unbound from a particular type of cuisine (like Spanish, for example). This place offers "flavors unleashed," drawing from a worldwide catalog of possibilities. I really enjoyed bouncing from Spain, to Argentina, to Indonesia, to Italy and to Hong Kong. Also worth noting is the restaurant's consistent use of locally sourced ingredients.... More

Good food and good fun. Their tapas have a Spanish undertone but their menu experiments with recipes from around the world and very successfully. Their tart of the day was delicious and the Indonesian shrimp was well-done.

Eclectic decor and quaint dining space makes this tapas restaurant a neighborhood gem. Reservations are highly recommended, otherwise you may find yourself waiting for quite a while. The staff is approachable and friendly. The menu changes at times but most of the favorites remain the same such as the Goat Cheese Crostini & La Merenda salad. Whatever you choose know... More

Peter Sandroni is one of the best chefs ever! His farm fresh, Internationally themed, small plates menu is outstanding. The decor is not fancy but there is a warm, friendly atmosphere and the place is humming every night. The outdoor patio is perfect with a wood burning fireplace. Now..the food! The nightly specials are delicious and the menu changes quite... More

The food, service and atmosphere were great. Will be going back to enjoy the new patio if summer ever arrives.
