Are a last minute decision to eat here and we were pleasantly surprised. The inn is very warm with the giant fireplace in the middle. We ordered appraisers of cheese curds. We ordered the parmigiana chicken and fish and chips. Three burgers with homemade bread and great fries. We all had great food!

The Whitetail Inn is beautiful to behold - large stone fireplace hearth, soaring log rafters, impressive game mounts on the wall. The food is your standard NorthWoods fare - prime rib, fish fry, etc. but it is well prepared and well service.

We have been to this restaurant several times and thought we would try their Thanksgiving buffet and all I can saw is wow. The food was great. Where else can you go for for a buffet and pick out the piece of turkey you like. Most places just have sliced turkey breast. The desserts were fantastic.

We had a family gathering (8of us) on Friday night. The Walleye was outstanding. The chicken cordon bleu was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was excellent!
